What an amazing day I had today. Started out as normal........ sun shone bonus.......traffic to work not bad........bonus. Picked up bus at McNicolls to take a group to our Farm check out www.cyrenians.org.uk and look at our farm page. Group in great spirits and got some good work done.
Picked some stones and planted some lettuce and radish. By lunch time we were all famished. Had a delicious hearty lunch and was joined by Kim McIntosh of John Muir Award Trust who came to look at the farm and at the work we are doing to achieve Our Discovery Level John Muir Award.
Over lunch and here is where things got interesting. I was approached by a director who was making a film My Father the astronaut and was using the farm to stage some scenes. Without thinking I said yes to becoming an extra in the movie and spent an hour being measured phtographed and finally my visage put to frame.
Yours truly...... star for an hour
Afternoon finished with a coffee in hand being praised by Kim for all our good work, sun shining birds singing and all is right with the world
Journey back with Group. Drop off in Falkirk perfect end to perfect day
Get back to office after dropping back the bus to find two boys creating mayhem emails and phone calls later all sorted and
finally home SHATTERED
R and R tonight and right back to the front in the morning
